What to look for in a Vlogging Camera

Here are some of the attributes of the best cameras that you will need to look out for and that we’ve covered in this review:

Video Quality – Video quality is one of the main factors when choosing the perfect vlogging camera. We try to look for 1080P @ 30 or 60FPS which is Full HD. While 720P is standard definition but can be good for Vloggers who are starting out.

Audio – Audio is another important factor, when vlogging you need your audience to be able to hear you, so getting a camera with good audio is essential. If your camera does not have great audio you may need to invest in an external microphone.

Weight/Portability- Weight and portability of the design of the camera should be a priority as most vloggers love to bring their camera’s with them, especially if you’re holding the camera for a long time while recording without a tripod or even taking pictures.

Video/IS Stabilisation  – Video stabilisation is one of the key features which should be in a vlogging camera. If you’re vlogging on the go or while walking then this feature would minimise the movement and shaking of the video making it look stable.

Best Point and Shoot Cameras For Vlogging

1. Canon PowerShot G7X Digital Camera – Wi-Fi Enabled

G7X

The Canon Powershot G7 X is one of the most popular logging camera’s out there and one of the most in demand camera’s of 2017. As a youtuber its important for a camera to work well in a variety of different lighting situations, this 80D has a surprisingly great dynamic range that will allow you to record video in a variety of different lighting settings.
